Four Waitstaff jobs are open at a high-energy Mexican-themed restaurant in central Christchurch, New Zealand. Here are the facts. The job is full-time, at least 30 hours a week. Nights, weekends and the busy summer months are part of the roster. Staff complete regular in-house training on food, beverage and service.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet every guest and brief them on the food, drinks and specials
- Take orders fast and accurately, then run them to the table
- Turn tables quickly: clear, wipe, reset, and keep the venue clean
- Log orders on the POS and close bills by electronic or cash payment
- Hold the line on New Zealand liquor laws and licensing rules alongside management
- Sell the restaurant's products and services with confidence
- Get through the regular in-house training modules
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience of at least six months in a similar role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Solid working knowledge of New Zealand liquor laws
- Ready for night, weekend and busy summer shifts
- The drive to work hard when the pace is high
- The discipline to learn the restaurant's offerings and its service standards quickly
