Here is a clear opportunity for a hospitality supervisor who is ready to lead: a full-time Duty Manager role at a well-established pub in Sydney. The pub has loyal regulars and steady trade across bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms, and it is part of a larger hotel group that runs on strong governance and clear standards.
The job is simple to describe and demanding to do well. You take ownership of your shifts, keep the floor running, and contribute to back-of-house operations as well as front-of-house service. An experienced Duty Manager fits the brief, and so does a senior supervisor ready to step into a broader leadership role. The group develops its leaders, with potential to progress, and sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts across bar, gaming, functions and guest rooms
- Manage opens and closes
- Take charge of cash handling and reporting
- Support functions and events
- Help with orders, stock levels and suppliers
- Contribute to rosters and control labour costs
- Support compliance in RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety
- Assist with local marketing and promotions run in the venue
- Coach and develop staff, holding service standards and guest experience to a high level
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Gaming experience, including TAB and KENO
- Current ARCG, RSA and RCG
- A strong leadership presence
- Strong communication skills
- Calm, organised and solutions-driven
- Comfortable managing the balance between service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience highly regarded, with experience in functions, guest rooms, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing favourable
