A Perth bakery has an opening for a qualified baker, permanent and full-time. It is real production work, with dough, ovens and a steady stream of bread, rolls, buns and savoury products for local customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dough to the recipe and schedule: mixing, kneading, dividing, moulding
- Control proofing, oven temperature and baking times
- Turn out bread, rolls, buns and savoury products at a consistently high standard, well presented
- Train and support apprentices and bakery assistants
- Run a clean, safe bakery under food safety and workplace safety procedures, and help with stock control, ingredient ordering and cutting waste
- Work with the bakery manager and team to meet daily production, and give customers friendly service when required
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold a recognised baking trade qualification
- You bring at least two years of relevant commercial baking experience
- You have strong practical skills in bread and yeast-based bakery production and are committed to product quality, food safety and cleanliness
- You communicate well, cooperate with others and work efficiently in a busy production environment
- You can work early morning starts, weekends and public holidays as rostered
