Community Support Worker

Onshore applicants only

Visa sponsorship

Community Services · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $35 - $45/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only

Here is a role with real responsibility. A growing community and in-home support service in Sydney is recruiting a full-time Community Support Worker who can assess people properly, act on what they find and stay accountable for the outcome.

The work covers the full cycle of support. You interview clients, identify their needs, design programmes, refer them to outside services, track their progress and report on it, including for funding and for government. The client base is wide: families, children, young people, older people and people with disabilities.

Be clear on the conditions. Only applicants who are already living in Australia can be considered. The employer states that sponsorship may be available for suitably qualified, eligible candidates through subclass 407, 482, 494 or 186, but whether that happens rests on the employer signing off, the visa rules being met, the occupation qualifying and your own situation.

Make your CV do the work for you. Put your Diploma of Community Services or Bachelor's degree up front and give hard examples of the referrals and case reports you have handled. Sharpen your CV with Build AI CV.
