Key Responsibilities
- Break down, trim and portion beef, lamb, chicken and goat to halal standards
- Handle, store and display every meat product correctly while keeping the work area clean, safe and organised to food safety standards
- Advise customers on choices, special orders and cooking, and work with the team to keep daily operations smooth
Requirements & Eligibility
- Earlier experience working as a butcher
- Halal experience is highly regarded
- Confident knife handling and portioning, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of halal requirements when preparing meat
- Customer focus and clear communication
- Dependable, hardworking and a team player
