Qualified boilermakers, fabricators, welders and pipefitters, this one is worth your attention. A WA workforce company is filling trade roles for clients in civil construction, oil and gas, defence, mining, health and rail, with work in Perth's metro area and across regional WA.
The job is hands-on and demanding. You will fabricate in the workshop, build pipe spools and piping systems, weld with TIG or flux-core, and handle heavy structural steel, all from drawings and work packs and all to strict quality and safety standards. Weld tests can be part of the deal, so come prepared to prove your skill.

Key Responsibilities
- Take your instructions from isometrics, work packs, shop drawings and the fabrication details
- Turn raw steel into finished work by fabricating, fitting, assembling, welding and repairing it to the project spec, safely and to a high standard
- Pipefitters set out and build spools and complete piping runs, get each fit-up ready, then mount the valves, supports and flanges
- Welders lay down TIG on duplex, exotic alloys, carbon and stainless steel, or run FCAW on structural members, always within the approved procedure
- Boilermakers build up tanks, hoppers, chutes, plate and structural sections, plus other heavy industrial pieces
- Keep workshop machines running safely and your bay spotless
- Speak up at pre-starts and safety walks, flag any hazard, incident, defect or quality problem straight away, and pass any weld test put in front of you
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade certificate in Pipe Fitting, Welding Trade, Metal Fabricator or Boilermaker, or an equivalent
- A demonstrated track record in fabrication shops and on construction industry jobs
- You can read engineering drawings and make sense of the technical documents behind them
- Proven ability to hit fabrication tolerances and satisfy quality requirements
- Strong command of safe workshop practice
- Construction Industry White Card: preferred
- Desirable: welder qualifications to AS/NZS, tickets for rigging, dogging, forklift, EWP, confined space or working at heights, and first aid
- Fit for manual handling while wearing PPE
- Ready for shifts and overtime when required
