Key Responsibilities
- Deliver each person's person-centred, individual plan and own the activities in it
- Plan and run outings and leisure activities, and encourage people's own interests, friendships and choices
- Provide domestic support and personal care as the plan sets out
- Complete reports and documentation on time, keep the coordinator informed and keep information confidential
- Maintain a safe workplace for yourself and others
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current WA C-class driver's licence
- Solid understanding of the needs of people with physical and intellectual disabilities and a positive attitude towards them
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team
- Organised, with the skill to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines
- Experience working with people with disability (desirable)
