This is a senior finance post with real scope. A Sydney funds management platform that has posted consistent multiples in growth year after year is hiring a Senior Finance Manager for a newly created position.
You will control the numbers and the daily running of the funds. That means directing outsourced fund administration, property accounting and tax advisers, checking their output, producing NAV calculations, cashflow forecasts and financing arrangements, and backing up the compliance function. You will also be the person auditors, bankers and investment partners deal with. The team is boutique and entrepreneurial and works on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Control the finances of the funds platform.
- Run fund operations day to day.
- Direct outsourced providers covering fund administration, property accounting and tax, and review their work.
- Lead financial reporting, from NAV calculations to cashflow forecasting and financing arrangements.
- Back up the compliance function.
- Deal with internal finance and compliance teams, investment partners when needed, and external Accountants & Auditors and Bankers.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified CA/CPA
- Client-relevant funds or property sector experience as an FM or Senior FM
- Excellent communication in both written and verbal form
- Strong work ethic
- Initiative, with a proactive and positive approach to work
