Brisbane, full-time, Junior or Intermediate level: a respected boutique accounting firm on the city fringe is recruiting an accountant for its Tax & Business Services team. If you have solid public practice experience and want to build on it, this is a direct fit.
The firm delivers accounting, tax and business advisory services to a broad client portfolio. It works on a fixed-fee model, which means no timesheets and no traditional targets. What counts is quality, efficiency and client results. You will report closely to a Senior Manager and get continuous mentoring as you take on wider accounting, tax and advisory work.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare income tax returns, BAS and financial statements covering individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Carry out taxation compliance and general business services tasks
- Engage with the ATO, ASIC and other relevant authorities
- Deliver quality work alongside senior team members, building toward tax planning and business advisory as your experience develops
Requirements & Eligibility
- 18 months' minimum experience in Australian public practice accounting, in Tax & Business Services
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- Studying towards CA or CPA now, or interested in completing it
- Experience on Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong communication, excellent attention to detail, a positive and motivated attitude and a genuine drive to keep developing your accounting career
