Senior Cook / Chef, full-time, at a busy country hotel pub in New South Wales. The kitchen wants someone with proven work on pan, grill and cold larder who can hold a section with confidence.
You will support the Head Chef directly and lead the junior kitchen team through each shift. Expect days, nights and weekends on the roster. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate. The employer is clear that applicants must be already living in Australia and available to come in for a trial.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce food to the menu guidelines, the recipes and the Head Chef's requirements
- Control stock levels and minimise waste
- Demonstrate techniques to junior staff and guide them on cooking procedures
- Take charge of kitchen attendants and apprentices during the shift
- Keep the kitchen and storage areas clean and hygienic as food safety legislation demands
- Support the receiving and checking of deliveries so quality and storage are right
- Cook for special dietary requirements and take part in menu planning
- Follow food handling and safety procedures and report incidents to the Head Chef
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 5 years of direct experience on pan and grill sections
- Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery
- Skills assessment for cook or chef
- Must be living in Australia
- Available to come in for a trial
- Able to work days, nights and weekends flexibly
- Strong teamwork and communication
