Here is a serious management role for an experienced hospitality leader. A Canberra venue with a strong local name for corporate events, weddings and high tea wants a Restaurant Manager who will own the operation from end to end.
The job is about control and standards. You lead and roster the front-of-house team, train them properly, keep service and presentation sharp, and handle guest feedback directly. You also carry the numbers: revenue growth, cost control and compliance with WHS and RSA rules. Close coordination with the General Manager, the events team and the kitchen keeps each function on track.
Expect nights and weekends. The venue is part of an established events and hospitality group running sites in Sydney and Canberra, and sponsorship is available for this hire.

Key Responsibilities
- Own daily operations across corporate functions, weddings, high tea and private events

Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in premium hospitality as a Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager or Events Manager
- A warm, approachable personality, at ease with both guests and team
- A confident, hands-on leader taking full ownership of operations
- Excellent spoken and written English, with strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Available for nights and weekends, every weekend included, plus public holidays and peak event periods
