Here is a clear opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse: a general practice caring for individuals and families in Dubbo, NSW, has a full-time Practice Nurse position, Monday to Friday. The nurse works at the heart of the clinic and carries out health assessments during home visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the medical practitioner in providing medical services
- Control stock, sterilise instruments and maintain equipment in the treatment room
- Educate patients
- Apply infection control and WHS practices
- Help the practice meet accreditation standards
- Lead other staff clinically
- Triage patients
- Attend to wounds and dressings; give childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations
- Perform corporate health checks, ECG, audiometry and spirometry
- Manage chronic disease and conduct age-appropriate and Indigenous health assessments
- Maintain the cold chain; educate staff
- Keep the treatment room ready for every clinic session
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration, current, with the CPD points required
- Basic Life Support / CPR certificate, current, or an equivalent
- Working With Children Check
- Ability to multi-task, solve problems and manage time
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A Certified Immuniser is looked upon favourably
