Hervey Bay, Queensland. Full-time. Registered Nurse in residential aged care, with responsibility for the care team. If you already lead shifts, this role is built around what you do.
The work splits two ways. On the clinical side you assess residents, track vital signs, manage medications and treatments, and write and run individual care plans. On the leadership side you direct graduate RNs, ENs, student nurses and Personal Care Workers, conduct regular performance reviews and push care standards to the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care to residents according to their care plans and the best available evidence, together with each resident and the care team
- Design individual care plans and carry them out
- Assess residents, record vital signs and administer medications and treatments
- Direct graduate Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and Personal Care Workers
- Drive the highest standards of care across the team and manage performance through regular reviews and development support
- Work closely with clinical staff, families, residents, allied health professionals, GPs and external bodies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor of Nursing
- AHPRA registration that is current and unrestricted
- First Aid and CPR certificates, both current
- Practice in aged care and infection control that is professional, ethical and current, meeting legal and AHPRA requirements and the Nurses Code of Conduct
- Aged care experience and willingness to complete ongoing mandatory training
