Maintenance Technician / Fitter
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Bundaberg, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $85,000 - $95,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored
A Bundaberg packing facility needs a mechanical fitter who can diagnose, repair and improve, and who is ready for real hands-on work. The employer is a vertically integrated horticultural business operating nationally, and an agricultural sector specialist is recruiting for the role.
Here is the job in plain terms. You report to the Maintenance Supervisor, work alongside a small maintenance team and look after packing line machinery and the mechanical equipment around it. Fewer breakdowns, more reliable machines and steady production are what success looks like. Peak periods call for extra hours and some Saturdays, and harvest season involves travel to another packing facility in the Northern Territory. Visa sponsorship is available for suitably qualified candidates.
