Appliance Service & Repair Technician
Onshore applicants only
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Brisbane homes need their fridges, washing machines and ovens working, and a household appliance repair business is hiring a technician to keep them that way. You will diagnose faults, then repair and service domestic appliances, dishwashers, clothes dryers and cooktops among them, on site at customers' homes.
Your patch takes in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the areas around them, and you run your own calls with no one supervising. If you are close to finishing an electrical or refrigeration apprenticeship, you can still go for it, more so if you already have service and fault-finding experience.
Choose full-time or casual hours and start right away. The opening is restricted to people already in Australia, and if you are onshore with the right qualifications or experience, sponsorship through an approved visa program such as the 482 or 407 may be considered, provided you meet Australia's immigration requirements.
Put your electrical licence and your repair record at the top of a clear English CV. Get your technician CV ready with Build AI CV and apply with confidence.
