Key Responsibilities
- Receive guests positively and walk them through menu choices
- Write up orders, put them through the POS and bring them to the table
- Accept electronic and cash payments
- Reset and clean tables between guests
- Keep the restaurant clean during and after service
- Enforce NZ liquor laws and licensing requirements, keeping management and guests informed
- Attend in-house beverage, food and service training and complete every module
- Promote the restaurant's products and services within its policies
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least six months of experience in a similar role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Good knowledge of NZ liquor laws and availability for nights, weekends and the busy summer months
- Motivation to work hard and learn the restaurant's offerings and service standards
