Key Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders, establish the business requirements and set them down as technical designs and specifications
- Develop applications in Python, C#/.NET, JavaScript/Node.js and React
- Test those applications and maintain them
- Design RESTful APIs, build and maintain them, and integrate applications with NoSQL and SQL databases
- Implement AI capabilities in the applications, namely LLM (large language model) integrations, automated workflows and chatbots
- Prepare data and deliver machine learning models, built, trained and evaluated for analytics, prediction and classification
- Deploy to cloud environments on AWS or Azure using CI/CD pipelines and manage the applications once deployed
- Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot issues, resolve defects promptly and take your place in code reviews, holding to best practices on code quality, performance and security
- Create technical documentation, test records and user guides, keep them maintained, and back existing systems with maintenance, enhancements and technical support
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, or else equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years' commercial experience, covering the design, development and testing of software
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience in C#/.NET, React or Node.js
- Proven experience designing APIs
- Proven experience working with relational (SQL) databases
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, the OpenAI API or scikit-learn
- Sound understanding of software architecture, testing methodologies and version control (Git)
- Experience working within Scrum or Agile teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and also independently
