Joinery Detailer

Trade · Queenstown, New Zealand · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
Here is a detail-heavy joinery role worth a serious look. A premium bespoke joinery company that has supplied all forms of joinery in the south of New Zealand's South Island for more than 30 years needs a Joinery Detailer, after a recent retirement opened the seat. Queenstown is the closest main city.
The job is full-time, permanent and runs 40-44 hours per week. Expect to read and interpret technical drawings and documents, plan and control projects, and fix issues fast enough to keep every delivery date. You will coordinate builders, suppliers and sub-contractors, handle customers, architects and designers, and report to management.
The bar is clear. You need trade qualifications with kitchen cabinetry as a minimum, or three years of proven joinery-associated experience, and you must understand Microvellum or a similar woodworking package. This employer is AEWV-accredited, so it can sponsor the right international candidates into permanent employment in New Zealand.
