Key Responsibilities
- Direct the educator team, providing mentoring and support so programs meet a high standard.
- Enforce compliance with the NQF, the National Law & Regulations and service policies, and drive continuous improvement against the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Win the trust of families and the surrounding community.
- Control enrolments, occupancy and the overall sustainability of the service.
- Keep the learning environment safe, inclusive and centred on children.
- Implement the Child Safe Standards and build a culture where child safety comes first.
- Take charge of overall centre performance: occupancy, team outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven leadership experience in the early childhood education sector.
- Strong, practical understanding of the National Quality Framework.
- A demonstrated ability to lead with clarity, professionalism and warmth.
- Excellent communicator with solid relationship-building skills.
- Passionate about high-quality care and education for children.
- Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (an ACECQA approved equivalent is also accepted).
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid and any relevant clearances.
- Current Child Safety and Child Protection Training.
