Hospitality · Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia · Contract · $35.15 - $49.21/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Straight to the point. A large, modern community club on the Sunshine Coast is hiring casual chefs, and the right person can expect 35-40 hours a week. Its kitchen covers the dining outlets, the functions and events held in its centre, and a sports bar.
This is a hands-on cooking job. You will assist the head chef to keep service tight and efficient, cook in full compliance with the Food Safety Act and the club's food safety system, and keep food quality, consistency and standard at the top level in every outlet. Bistro cooking experience gives you an edge.
Know the terms before you apply. The role begins as casual work, and the employer will consider sponsorship for the right applicant only after an agreeable trial period. You must have Australian work rights at the point of application.
