A dementia care home in Christchurch has a full-time, permanent Caregiver role open, and it wants people who are serious about this work. You commit to a minimum of 30 hours a week on a roster that covers 24/7.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care, including showering and dressing, in a holistic and culturally safe way
- Assist residents with meals, getting around and communicating
- Contribute to care planning for residents with dementia and follow their therapy plans
- Report on each resident's progress
- Raise any change or concern straight away
- Keep every record accurate and current
- Support the registered nurses while working within your scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- Genuine dedication to improving elderly people's lives through kindness and empathy, along with passion for aged care
- Ready to work any shift on a 24/7 roster
- Previous caregiving experience preferred; dementia care experience is a strong advantage
- Visa support condition: a Registered Nursing degree, or a Level 4+ caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA)
