Five permanent Rope Access Technician positions are open with a New Zealand firm that has maintained commercial property for over 20 years. If you have real experience on ropes, this is a direct path to building maintenance work at height.
Expect to move. The role splits between greater Auckland and Christchurch according to workload, with regular travel, overnight stays and short trips to other regions from time to time.
The full-time contract sets a minimum of 70 hours a fortnight. In practice most staff do 40 hours a week: 7am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, or 6pm to 2am Monday to Thursday on nights. Rosters are issued about a week in advance, and the firm offers industry training and the chance to progress to further IRATA levels.
The firm is an accredited employer, ready to sponsor the right hire, and invites IRATA-qualified abseilers currently based abroad to contact it.
Make your CV specific with your IRATA level, logbook hours, first aid units and any 3M certification. Write a strong rope access CV for New Zealand before you apply.
