A supportive aged care organisation in New South Wales is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse for a permanent position with long-term prospects.

Who it suits: an RN already working in Australia who wants more stability, a regional lifestyle and a possible route to permanent residency. The employer offers 186 visa sponsorship for eligible candidates and relocation assistance for the move to regional NSW.

Key Responsibilities

Keep full, accurate clinical records
Assess each resident and monitor ongoing health conditions
Pick up changes in a resident's health status and respond quickly
Write, put in place and regularly review individual care plans
Administer medications and treatments as clinical requirements dictate
Deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality nursing care and support residents with their continuing healthcare and wellbeing needs
Collaborate with care staff, doctors and allied health professionals, and communicate well with residents and their families
Uphold residents' dignity, independence and quality of life
Keep the care environment safe and respectful, in line with relevant clinical, aged care and workplace health and safety standards
Help build a positive, supportive team

Requirements & Eligibility

AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse that is current
You are currently employed as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Aged care experience is highly regarded
Valid Australian working rights
A Police Check that is current
Strong clinical and communication skills
Professional, dependable and compassionate in resident care, and effective in a multidisciplinary team
Real interest in a long-term career in regional NSW
Willingness to move to, and live in, the regional NSW area
Commitment to a minimum 2-year employment contract
