This is a serious emergency nursing role. A busy Emergency Department in Canberra, ACT, is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse on a full-time basis, and it wants someone who stays sharp when the department fills up.
Your job is straightforward to describe and demanding to do: assess each patient, decide on a plan, deliver the care and check that it is working, side by side with a multidisciplinary team. You keep patients and their families informed and supported from start to finish. Shifts rotate across evenings, nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess each emergency patient and decide on a plan of care

Requirements & Eligibility
- Must hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, or be eligible for registration
- At least 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience
- Postgraduate emergency nursing qualification or equivalent
- Able to deliver high-quality nursing care in line with professional competency standards
- Strong critical thinking, communication and clinical decision-making
- Able to work independently
- Able to work in a multidisciplinary team
