Two permanent, full-time Diesel Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic jobs are open in Adelaide, SA. A logistics firm is adding hands to its workshop and wants mechanics who are reliable, driven and serious about quality.
Your main task is to keep heavy trucks and semi-trailers safe and efficient. That means servicing, finding faults in brakes, suspension and electrics, repairing trailer running gear and passing NHVR safety inspections.
The employer offers 482 visa sponsorship to the right, eligible candidate, and qualified mechanics in Australia or overseas who meet the visa requirements are welcome.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair heavy diesel trucks and semi-trailers, with preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, braking and suspension faults
- Repair air brake systems, axles, wheel bearings, landing legs and trailer parts
- Complete NHVR safety inspections
- Record all maintenance work and job reports
- Work fast and keep standards high
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
- Proven work on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Strong at diagnosis and fault-finding
- Air brake systems and trailer maintenance experience
- Able to work independently and in a team
- HC/MC driver's licence is an advantage
- A strong work ethic
- Committed to safety
