Key Responsibilities
- Work on building and civil construction projects
- Carpentry, framing, formwork and hammerhand tasks
- Concrete work from placing to finishing, including steel fixing, reinforcing and trowelling
- Brick, block and masonry laying
- Roofing, roof installation and cladding
- Tiling, floor laying and flooring installation
- Plastering, gib fixing, plasterboard stopping and painting
- Plumbing, drainage and pipe laying, electrical trade assistance, HVAC and ventilation installation, glazing and general construction
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous construction industry experience covering 12 months
- The fitness for heavy manual work
- Takes instructions and works as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety, with safe use of basic hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual and fine with outdoor work
