Bunbury, WA: a full-time Bricklayer position is open with a family-owned company whose work is retaining walls, earthworks and brickwork. This is straightforward trade work done properly. You will put up new structures that meet industry standards and the client's specification, on residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Construct and repair structures by laying bricks, concrete blocks and stones in mortar.
- Interpret drawings and specifications accurately before and during each job.
- Operate hand and power tools (trowels, levels, mallets, brick saws) and keep them in proper working order.
- Test accuracy using levels, plumb lines and measuring equipment.
- Clean and point joints for a weatherproof, good-looking finish.
- Run a safe, tidy work site in line with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support project timelines by handling materials, preparing work areas and working closely with supervisors and other trades.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer, with a solid record across residential, commercial or industrial construction.
- Current formal bricklaying qualifications, or completion of a bricklaying apprenticeship.
- Strong knowledge of techniques, mortar composition and bonding patterns.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Safe, competent use of hand tools and power tools.
- Working understanding of Western Australia's building codes, standards and health and safety requirements.
- Current driver's licence for travel between work sites.
- Physically fit for tough manual work in changing weather conditions.
- Detail-minded, committed to quality workmanship and an excellent team communicator.
- Desirable: experience with custom construction, decorative brickwork or heritage masonry restoration work.
- Desirable: First Aid certification (current) and a White Card (Construction Induction Card).
