Sydney needs barbers who can really cut. A fast-growing barbershop business there has a free chair in each of its three shops, all within about 15 minutes of one another, and more shops are coming.
Here is how the work runs. The shops open seven days a week, and you choose a roster from a few days up to seven, full-time or part-time. Clients fill your book from day one, and you start with a paid half-day trial that ends in a decision the same day.
The three shops differ, with a high-traffic walk-in shop beside a station, a beachside shop with a loyal crowd, and an inner-city room. The crew is international and lively. Visa sponsorship is available for one barber per shop, and working holiday visa holders are welcome to apply.
