The arrangement is straightforward. Work is supplied directly, projects are planned ahead and payments are made weekly, which means no time lost hunting for customers, preparing quotes or chasing unpaid invoices.
Assessment covers your practical experience, trade capability, reliability and ability to meet professional standards. Experienced tradespeople who can be properly verified have the chance to build a strong, ongoing working relationship. Key Responsibilities
- Keep work areas safe, clean and organised
- Complete every tiling project to a high, consistent standard
- Prepare wet areas and carry out waterproofing
- Screed and properly prepare surfaces
- Set out, measure and install tiles with accuracy
- Complete grouting and finishing, applying epoxy grout where required with training available
- Caulk and seal to achieve a clean professional finish
- Remove and refit basic shower screens as needed
- Inspect your completed work and rectify any finishing problems
- Pay attention to detail and keep accuracy and neatness throughout
- Deal professionally with customers during each project
- Meet project schedules and complete allocated work within the agreed timeframes
- Comply with relevant workplace health and safety requirements
- Represent the team through quality workmanship and dependable service
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian work rights or eligibility for sponsorship
- Locally based in South Australia if you are applying for sponsorship
- Minimum 3 years of tiling and waterproofing experience
- Hands-on tiling capability shown across a range of projects
- Practical experience in screeding and waterproofing
- Experience with removing and refitting basic shower screens
- Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills with a customer focus
- English-speaking
- Current Australian driver's licence and own suitable commercial vehicle
- Current White Card
- Valid ABN
- Appropriate business and public liability insurances
- Professional and reliable in your work ethic
- Able to work independently and maintain high workmanship standards
