An established hospitality and events organisation in New South Wales is adding Casual Wait Staff to its Front of House team. The work covers a varied portfolio of high-quality events: elegant weddings, corporate functions, gala dinners and private celebrations.
Your job is to help deliver seamless service and a memorable experience for each guest. You will move between different venues and event styles and work with experienced hospitality and event professionals. If you like variety, people and the energy of live events, this fits.

Key Responsibilities
- Stick to venue rules on hygiene and food safety
- Apply responsible alcohol service and workplace safety procedures
- Keep your service sharp and attentive for the whole of every event
- Receive guests with a friendly, professional manner and help them as needed
- Get service stations, function rooms, dining areas and tables ready before guests arrive
- Write down beverage and food orders correctly
- Bring out meals and drinks quickly, in line with the venue's service standards
- Keep watching the room and act fast when a guest asks for something
- Clear tables and set them again while functions run and once they finish
- Make sure the guest-facing area stays tidy, well arranged and presentable
- Cooperate with the service, event and kitchen crews
- Help corporate functions and weddings go off without problems
- Help large celebrations and private events go off without problems
- Look professional and stay positive from the start of each shift to the end
- Adjust to new venues, event formats, guest requests and service pressures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current Australian RSA certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Appropriate Australian working rights where applicable
- Relevant overseas hospitality experience may be considered for sponsorship, and you should be willing to work across multiple venues throughout New South Wales
- Background in customer service, functions, waiting or hospitality is preferred
- Real interest in giving guests a high-quality experience, plus strong spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual and well presented
- At ease in busy, fast-changing settings and able to work as one team with kitchen and Front of House staff
- Flexible to cover evening, weekend, public holiday and event-based shifts
