Experienced Venue Manager needed for a busy hospitality venue. The job is to keep the whole operation performing smoothly: service, stock control, staffing and the customer experience.

Applicants should be able to show genuine experience managing teams, coordinating service and making practical decisions in a fast-moving venue. Hands-on experience, leadership capability and a sound understanding of hospitality operations are central to this role, and you will need to back up your claimed skills and work history with evidence.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of front-of-house performance and service delivery while managing the venue's daily operation
Lead and supervise staff during trading, setting the standard from the floor
Build rosters, then train, coach and support the team
Hold service and customer experience to a consistent standard
Deal with customer feedback and resolve issues properly
Handle stock ordering and inventory, and track labour, stock and operating costs
Coordinate functions, events and special bookings
Keep operations running smoothly at peak times, identifying challenges and putting effective fixes in place
Maintain a professional, positive workplace culture

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven venue management or senior hospitality supervision experience
Hospitality industry experience that is demonstrated and verifiable
Strong grasp of front-of-house operations and confidence managing service in a busy environment
Experience leading and developing hospitality teams
Knowledge of rostering, labour management and cost control, and experience with stock management and ordering
Strong customer service and communication skills, plus the ability to manage functions and events
Well organised and able to handle competing priorities
Hands-on leader with a professional attitude who leads by example
Relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated industry experience, supported by evidence of your claimed skills and employment history
