Position: Nightshift Storeperson. Workplace: a busy warehouse and logistics operation in the North Island, New Zealand. Contract: permanent full-time with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Follow workplace health and safety procedures at every point of the shift and keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Load, unload and move goods with a forklift, working safely and efficiently
Devan containers by unloading shipping containers as they arrive
Receive, inspect and put away incoming inventory, and complete the related warehouse administration and inventory documentation
Pick and pack orders with accuracy to match customer requirements
Have customer orders prepared for dispatch within the required timeframes
Do manual handling and move warehouse stock as needed, and act as an MPI Accredited Person where applicable
Deal with customers professionally when required
Work as an effective member of the nightshift team

Requirements & Eligibility

Physically fit, with the capacity to perform manual handling duties
Minimum one year operating forklifts
Has operated forklifts up to 5-tonne capacity as well as reach trucks
Preferred: forklift licence or relevant certification
Forklift attachment experience: advantageous but not essential
Sharp attention to detail and committed to workplace safety
Works well independently and in a team
Reliable and motivated, ready to work permanent nightshift hours
Good organisational and communication skills
Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is highly desirable
