Key Responsibilities

Drive sales and deliver against agreed store KPIs
Take full responsibility for daily store results and retail operations
Manage stock control, administration, merchandising and operational processes
Enforce strong standards in customer service, presentation and operational compliance
Set the example by being active and visible on the sales floor
Coach team members, give them feedback and educate them on products
Build a workplace culture of accountability, teamwork and customer service
Back structured staff development through internal training programs, and help the team learn technical outdoor products and equipment well
Spot chances to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
Use commercial insight to act on sales opportunities and shifts in what customers need
Work together with the Assistant Manager and regional leadership

Requirements & Eligibility

Availability to work the required Tuesday–Saturday roster
International applicants must have relevant and verifiable professional experience, as this is required

Retail leadership experience you can demonstrate, as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager or comparable senior position
A proven history of managing, coaching and developing retail workers, and the ability to motivate a small team against clear performance standards
Solid knowledge of sales targets, KPIs and commercial retail performance
A confident leader who is hands-on
Strong skills in customer service, relationship-building, communication and decision-making
Sound skills in administration, organisation and operational management
Real enthusiasm for outdoor recreation, adventure, technical clothing or specialist outdoor equipment
Ability to perform in a fast-paced retail setting facing customers
