Here is a straight opportunity for an experienced Stonemason in Sydney. An established stone manufacturer is hiring a Stonemason / Stone Fabricator to cut and finish natural and engineered stone for kitchen benchtops and other uses. The shop runs on 100% wet processing with water-fed fabrication, and it expects high-quality work every day.
The position is full-time, permanent and long term, with an immediate start. Monday to Thursday hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm; Friday runs 7:30am to 4:00pm. Overtime and Saturday work are available.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate kitchen benchtops and other stone applications using natural and manufactured stone
- Cut stone accurately
- Shape, polish and finish stone pieces
- Laminate edges
- Mitre edges for high-quality joins and finished edges
- Interpret plans, drawings and measurements
- Keep work accurate and efficient in a busy production environment
- Hold a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company systems
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated stonemasonry and stone fabrication experience
- Has worked with both natural and manufactured stone
- Confident with laminating, mitring, polishing and finishing tasks
- Reads and interprets plans and drawings
- Turns out high-quality finishes consistently
- Can work independently and also as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking and efficient under a fast pace
- Physically capable of the role's requirements
- Current driver's licence, and a White Card or willingness to obtain one
- Desirable: forklift licence, which is advantageous but not essential
- 3+ years' relevant industry experience preferred; less experienced candidates who are suitably skilled will also be considered
