Automotive Spray Painter wanted. A professional vehicle repair workshop in NSW needs an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in a high-quality finish.

Expect variety: the workshop handles smaller repairs as well as larger restoration and accident-damage jobs, and you must be able to manage each type of refinishing work with confidence. Glasurit paint systems are used on the job.

Key Responsibilities

Use Glasurit paint products and systems on the job
Assess each surface to work out the preparation required
Prepare panels and vehicle surfaces for refinishing through sanding, masking and priming
Mix and spray automotive paint and clear coats
Carry out both small and large paint repairs
Deliver accurate colour matches and consistent finishes
Run spray painting equipment safely
Check finished work for defects and imperfections, and rectify any finishing problems
Keep the workshop and its equipment clean, and work closely with the wider repair team

Requirements & Eligibility

Qualified Automotive Spray Painter
Practical vehicle repair industry experience, competent across small and large-scale repairs
Strong grasp of automotive refinishing techniques and experience using professional paint systems
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Professional, positive attitude and able to work effectively in a team
Flexible about workshop requirements
Reliable, with a strong sense of personal responsibility
