Panel Beaters and Spray Painters with real workshop experience: a growing automotive workshop in North Shore City, Auckland is expanding and needs skilled tradespeople.
This is for people with proven technical ability and a solid record of quality workmanship. You will be expected to handle different vehicles confidently and take responsibility for finishing work to a professional standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out rust repairs and the body restoration that goes with them
- Deliver professional panel beating and body repairs on vehicles
- Handle spray painting and refinishing of vehicles
- Work across different vehicle makes and models
- Assess what each repair requires, prepare damaged areas and surfaces, and apply suitable repair techniques
- Complete allocated jobs from start to finish without constant supervision
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and finish
- Follow workshop procedures and safety requirements
- Manage your tasks efficiently and meet the job deadlines agreed
- Communicate clearly with workshop colleagues and keep the work environment professional and organised
- Assist with race car preparation, events and track days when required, and support the team in busier periods of increased workload
Requirements & Eligibility
- Good spoken English: essential
- Minimum 2 years in relevant professional work
- Proven track record as a Panel Beater or Spray Painter
- Hands-on experience across a range of vehicle makes and models
- For Panel Beater applicants: practical rust repair experience
- Ability to complete repairs independently from start to finish, with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to show genuine, verifiable work experience
- Reliable, self-motivated approach to work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
- An existing NZ work visa or NZ residency is advantageous
- International applicants are welcome to apply; sponsorship is available for suitable international candidates
- Available a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Flexibility to work Saturdays in busy periods when required
