A fabrication role in Western Australia is open to an experienced Sheet Metal / Aluminium Fabricator who can deliver quality products and work independently in a busy production environment.

This is not a case of fitting a résumé to an opening. Selection is based on verified skills, genuine experience and how suitable you are for the role, so the experience you list should be real and provable.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all relevant workplace and safety procedures
Carry out aluminium TIG welding and laser welding
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal and aluminium products, finishing them to an accurate standard
Measure and prepare materials, and operate cutting, bending and rolling machinery
Work from basic sketches, plans and technical drawings
Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
Support smooth workshop operations and efficient production
Team up with colleagues to solve fabrication challenges and suggest better production methods
Keep tools, equipment and work areas properly maintained

Requirements & Eligibility

Previously employed as a Sheet Metal or Aluminium Fabricator
A background of 3–5 years or more in relevant industry roles
Strong practical aluminium welding experience, including competence in TIG or laser welding
Able to read and follow fabrication drawings
Experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment
Fencing and gates experience is highly regarded
Excellent eye for detail
Strong problem-solving ability in practical situations
Committed to safe work practices and quality
