An established salon group in Queensland is hiring a Senior Stylist. The employer wants someone accomplished, with proven technical ability, confidence with clients and a real passion for hairdressing.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of salon presentation and hygiene consistently
Provide high-quality cutting, colouring and styling, creating personalised looks with excellent technical standards
Consult clients on their preferences and recommend the right services, professional products included
Make every client visit professional and memorable
Build lasting relationships with both new and returning clients
Handle professional haircare products, tools and equipment confidently
Keep current with emerging trends, techniques and industry practice in hair
Collaborate with other stylists and salon team members and guide junior staff by sharing your knowledge
Join training sessions, workshops and ongoing professional development
Contribute to a salon culture that is positive, productive and client-focused

Requirements & Eligibility

Candidates seeking sponsorship must satisfy the applicable Australian visa requirements
Recognised qualification in hairdressing
Proven experience as a Senior Stylist or in an equivalent senior-level position
Strong hands-on cutting, colouring and styling skills
A demonstrated record of professional salon employment, backed by evidence of relevant qualifications and industry experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional client service approach
Able to work independently and also contribute effectively as part of a team
Passion for hairdressing and commitment to high-quality results
Willingness to mentor developing stylists and commitment to ongoing learning and skills development
