A growing New Zealand salon is hiring 2 Senior Hairdressers.
The role suits stylists with solid technical ability, confidence with clients and a real passion for quality hair services. Expect a wide range of cutting, colouring and styling work within a supportive, professional team. Sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates who meet the requirements listed below.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow salon procedures, workplace standards and hygiene requirements
- Keep the salon environment clean, organised and professional
- Consult clients properly and understand what each person's hair needs
- Cut ladies’ and children’s hair to a high standard
- Finish with professional blow waves and styling
- Carry out global colour and regrowth applications
- Complete balayage, highlights and foils
- Perform toning and colour correction services
- Deliver smoothing services and hair treatments
- Recommend the right haircare products and treatments, and build positive, professional relationships with clients
- Hold technical and service standards throughout each appointment and run your services with minimal supervision
- Help mentor and develop junior team members
- Take part in workshops, demonstrations and practical training where required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Willing to meet New Zealand employment and visa requirements; sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates
- Recognised hairdressing qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 or higher, plus a minimum 2 years of professional industry experience
- Strong practical skills across styling, foiling, colouring and cutting
- Experience with colour correction, toning, highlights and balayage
- Confident working independently in a professional salon, with strong consultation and communication skills and excellent customer service
- Reliable, professional and committed, and available to work weekends when required
- Beauty therapy skills or previous beauty industry experience is advantageous
- Experience mentoring junior stylists or delivering practical training is advantageous
- Able to state clearly the services you can perform confidently
- Able to disclose services where additional training or development may be required
