Key Responsibilities

Carry out cutting, colouring, styling and other salon services, giving every client professional hairdressing
Sit down with each client for a detailed consultation and work out their individual hair needs
Turn out polished results consistently and to professional standards
Provide hair extension services if you are qualified or experienced in them
Point clients to the right hair care, styling and maintenance solutions
Make clients feel welcome, build lasting relationships with them and keep them returning through quality service and professional communication
Keep your personal presentation sharp and protect the salon's professional image
Keep your station clean, organised and hygienic, and obey salon procedures plus health and safety rules
Cooperate with other stylists and salon staff and support a positive, productive culture
Stay current on what is trending in hair, new techniques and changes in the industry, and attend professional training to keep growing your skills

Requirements & Eligibility

A relevant hairdressing qualification or recognised industry training, plus the ability to verify your professional identity, qualifications and relevant employment experience
Proven background as a Senior Hair Stylist or experienced professional hairdresser, with a salon work history you can demonstrate
Strong technical knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
Confident consultation and interpersonal skills with clients
Close attention to detail plus firm commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
Passion for the craft of hairdressing and for ongoing skills development
A professional, reliable and motivated approach, working effectively alone or within a team
Knowledge of salon hygiene, safety and professional standards
Readiness to go through the required verification process
Hair extension experience is highly regarded; sponsorship is available for a suitable and eligible candidate
