A growing scaffolding team is hiring, and it wants proof, not promises. If you have real hands-on capability, take site safety seriously and can fit into a professional workplace, keep reading.

There are two routes in: experienced Scaffolders, and workers aiming to establish themselves as Scaffold Labourers. Either way, your practical experience, tickets and reliability will be weighed carefully.

Suitable candidates can access 40–60 hours of work per week, ongoing opportunities and attractive overtime conditions. Keep copies of your tickets ready, whether you earned them in Nigeria or abroad.

Key Responsibilities

Spot and report any hazards or unsafe scaffold conditions
Build up, modify and strip down scaffolds the approved way, working safely and efficiently on construction sites
Check scaffold parts and gear before use and during it
Stay safe at height by using the proper fall protection and personal protective equipment
Read site requirements, take instructions from supervisors and cooperate with scaffold crews and other trades on site
Keep gear and work areas in order
Get allocated tasks done to the expected quality and safety standards

Requirements & Eligibility

A current White Card, a current Working at Heights ticket and a current Scaffolding ticket/licence (Scaffolders)
Real scaffolding experience on the tools, relevant to the role (Scaffolders)
Can prove practical trade skills (Scaffolders)
Takes workplace safety seriously and is physically capable of scaffolding duties (Scaffolders)
Turns up reliably with a professional attitude to work (Scaffolders)
Effective team player (Scaffolders)
A current White Card (Scaffold Labourers)
Working at Heights ticket preferred; without it, ground-level duties only (Scaffold Labourers)
A construction or labouring background is advantageous (Scaffold Labourers)
In good physical shape and able to handle manual work (Scaffold Labourers)
Punctual and dependable (Scaffold Labourers)
Hard-working, with a strong work ethic (Scaffold Labourers)
Keen to learn and build scaffolding skills (Scaffold Labourers)
Sticks to instructions and safety procedures (Scaffold Labourers)
Positive attitude and works well with the team (Scaffold Labourers)
