A premium hospitality venue in Victoria, established and well run, is recruiting a Restaurant Manager to lead its Front of House operations and deliver an outstanding dining and entertainment experience.
The employer wants a hands-on leader who is comfortable in energetic environments, develops people and owns operational performance. You will lead the service team, hold standards high, improve the guest experience and contribute directly to the venue's continued success.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure RSA, workplace health and safety and all regulatory requirements are met
- Own Front of House service and the venue's daily operations
- Motivate the team to deliver consistent, high-quality hospitality and build a team culture centred on performance, teamwork and guest satisfaction
- Define professional service standards and enforce them venue-wide
- Run scheduling, rostering, reservations and customer flow
- Hire suitable staff, manage their induction and training, and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance support
- Find ways to raise service quality and efficiency, and act on customer feedback to resolve issues
- Watch KPIs and help achieve revenue and profitability targets, supporting labour planning, stock management and cost control
- Operate hospitality systems, including POS and rostering platforms
- Collaborate with management on business initiatives and contribute ideas for growth, sustainability and long-term performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Valid RSA certification
- At least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager or senior Front of House professional
- Strong background in high-volume, premium or fast-paced hospitality environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate hospitality teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven record in staff recruitment, training and retention
- Strong knowledge of customer service and restaurant operations
- Confident with stock control, rostering, POS and other operational systems, and understands labour costs, KPIs, financial performance and cost control
- Certificate IV or higher in Hospitality is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident decision-maker with excellent problem-solving ability
- Professional, proactive and commercially aware, with a passion for exceptional guest experiences
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic hospitality environment
