This is a permanent Registered Nurse position in aged care, based in a small country town in regional Queensland that is under two hours from Hervey Bay. The facility is a 52-bed community residential home, a recruitment agency is managing the hire, and the start is immediate.
You will run nursing care for residents, manage medications, direct the care staff on shift and keep the clinical documentation in order. Strong judgement in an emergency matters here.
Sponsorship support may be available for eligible candidates who are already based in Australia, including potential Subclass 407 or 485-related pathways, subject to individual eligibility and immigration requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Run high-quality, resident-focused nursing care
- Administer medications and track each resident's health and wellbeing
- Set up, implement and review individualised care plans
- Direct and back up care staff to hold high standards
- Keep clinical records and documentation accurate
- Communicate well with residents, families and other healthcare professionals
- Stay compliant with the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical policies while taking part in quality improvement and clinical reviews
- Respond fast to changes in residents' conditions and to medical emergencies, and keep up your continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum of six months' experience as an RN in aged care
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Intermediate computer skills
- Confidence with clinical documentation systems
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance and current National Criminal History Check
- Valid Queensland driver's licence
