Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Thermit Welding activities where you are suitably qualified
- Perform rail and track construction and maintenance
- Handle other project-related rail activities
- Bring your proven rail industry skills and experience to the works you are assigned
- Complete track work in line with project specifications and safety requirements
- Cooperate with rail crews and supervisors
- Work effectively with other site personnel
- Follow established rail safety procedures
- Meet workplace requirements on every site
- Hold professional standards across all project work
- Travel to different project sites as required, applying your rail competencies and qualifications appropriately
- Keep accurate records of your skills, experience and competencies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current KLE Profile
- Demonstrated hands-on rail and track work experience
- Relevant competencies for the rail industry
- Thermit Welding competency advantageous
- You must be able to show that your industry experience is genuine and verifiable
- Relevant qualifications, licences, tickets or certifications
- Strong understanding of rail safety
- Strong understanding of site procedures
- Reliable approach to project-based work
- Adaptable approach to changing project work
- Able to travel when required
- Suitable overseas applicants may be considered for sponsorship
- Pay rates will depend on your experience, competencies and suitability
