An established salon team in Western Australia has a permanent full-time vacancy for a skilled, motivated Hairdresser. You need to be able to deliver a broad range of professional salon services with confidence and give every client an excellent experience.

Key Responsibilities

Hold a detailed consultation with each client before starting any service
Advise on hairstyles, colours and haircare solutions that suit the client's needs
Cut hair for women, men and children to a professional level
Apply colouring techniques: foils, balayage, toning and root retouching
Blow-dry, style and finish to a high standard
Shampoo hair and carry out treatment services
Suggest and sell appropriate retail haircare products
Make sure each client leaves with a professional, positive experience
Keep personal presentation and salon hygiene to a high standard, and keep your station clean, tidy and ready for the next client
Stick to salon procedures, safety practices and professional standards
Cooperate with colleagues so daily operations run efficiently and the salon stays friendly and welcoming

Requirements & Eligibility

Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification
At least 2 years of relevant professional hairdressing experience
Demonstrated cutting, colouring and styling experience, including competence in modern colouring techniques such as foils and balayage
Strong consultation, client relationship, communication and customer service skills
Professional, detail-focused, reliable and well presented, with commitment to professional standards
Can manage multiple client requirements in a busy salon and work effectively in a team
Must satisfy the relevant requirements for visa sponsorship
