Qualified Plumbers are needed for New Zealand's growing residential and commercial heating sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Pressure-test systems, then commission them and check how they perform
- Install new plumbing and maintain existing plumbing on homes and commercial buildings
- Set up hot and cold water systems
- Fit fixtures and carry out sanitary plumbing
- Put in and look after pipes, pumps, valves and the controls for plumbing systems
- Handle hydronic heating, from underfloor heating pipe runs to the heating components
- Fit, swap out and commission hot water cylinders as well as heat pump water heaters
- Help with technical heating jobs and plumbing tied to HVAC installations
- Check plans, drawings and specs before starting so the job is done right
- Measure, cut and join pipe using proper trade methods
- Find faults, fix them and sort out plumbing problems properly
- Run a professional, safe job site that meets health and safety standards
- Cooperate with builders, technicians and other tradespeople on site
- Look after company tools, equipment and resources so nothing is wasted or damaged
Requirements & Eligibility
- AEWV sponsorship may be considered for suitable overseas candidates, depending on eligibility requirements
- Recognised plumbing qualification plus relevant industry experience
- New Zealand plumbing registration, or be eligible to achieve registration
- Minimum three years' experience in plumbing installation, repairs and maintenance, including proven work on residential and commercial projects
- Advantageous: exposure to hydronic heating, underfloor heating or HVAC plumbing systems
- Can interpret technical drawings, plans and project requirements
- Strong technical problem-solving and attention to detail, committed to high-quality workmanship and reliable service
- Effective communicator who works well in a professional team
- Valid driver licence, or willing to obtain one
- Able to provide verified employment history, qualifications and trade experience records
