Planner/ Architectural Draftsperson
Trade · Rockdale, Sydney NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $80,000/yr
Reliable technical skill, close attention to detail and practical project experience: that is what a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Rockdale, Sydney wants from its next Planning / Architectural Draftsperson.
The job is split between architectural drafting and planning and development application work. Expect to record existing residential properties, some of them buildings that must be reinstated or redesigned after damage caused by fire, trees or vehicles. That calls for reading existing conditions correctly, producing clear documentation and knowing how drawings tie into wider planning requirements. Planning documents, DA preparation, consultant coordination and portal submissions also sit with this role.
Responsibility starts immediately, and the position can grow into a senior or lead role as you show what you can do and the business expands. Remember: a genuine employer will never ask you to pay for a job offer.
