Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers on availability, delivery schedules and order updates
- Receive incoming deliveries and confirm each part matches the required specification
- Process returns, cancellations and supplier credits with the related records, and keep purchase order records and documentation accurate
- Assess workshop requirements and order parts efficiently so daily workshop activity is supported
- Keep inventory data and stock movement history correct
- Track usage trends to help hold stock at appropriate levels, and carry out regular stock audits to investigate any discrepancies
- Keep tracking records for workshop tools and equipment current
- Back up the workshop with admin for vehicle preparation and day-to-day operations, keeping work flowing between the parts and workshop teams
- Follow safety procedures whenever parts are stored or handled
Requirements & Eligibility
- Valid driver's licence
- Hands-on track record in automotive parts, purchasing, stock control or dealership operations, backed by demonstrated automotive industry experience fit for an overseas career move
- Solid knowledge of automotive repair processes and the parts each repair calls for
- Former Service Advisor applicants with strong workshop administration skills will be considered
- A sharp eye for detail and excellent record management, plus the ability to plan tasks, hit deadlines and cope with changing priorities
- Professional communication with suppliers and internal teams, and a positive attitude towards learning and adapting to new systems
- Confident on computer systems for data entry, reporting and reconciliation
- Visa sponsorship consideration may be open to candidates who meet the experience requirements
