Melbourne needs experienced mental health nurses, and six positions are being filled for 2026. They suit Mental Health Registered Nurses and Mental Health Clinicians who are ready to look after patients on inpatient wards and within community services.
Psychiatric assessments will be a regular part of your work. You will do it inside a close team that takes compassionate care seriously, and there is continuing education tailored to this field.
On the visa side, sponsorship is available and comes with a pathway to permanent residency via the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186).

Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum of 2-3 years as a Mental Health Registered Nurse
- Passion for exceptional patient care and for mental health support
- Current AHPRA registration
- Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification
- Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing highly regarded
- Excellent understanding of psychiatric assessments
- Excellent understanding of the Mental Health Act 2022
