Role: Hotel Manager. Employer: an established hotel in NSW. Term: a long-term opportunity.

The hotel wants someone capable and energetic who will not hide behind a desk. You will manage the property in a practical way: helping guests, coordinating staff, dealing with contractors and handling maintenance issues as they come up. Expect every day to be different.

Key Responsibilities

Respond quickly whenever an operational problem arises
Troubleshoot faults and issues as they come up
Arrange repairs where necessary
Help with minor maintenance and property issues
Run the hotel's daily operations
Give guests direct, hands-on assistance and support
Direct and coordinate hotel employees
Manage the work of contractors and service providers
Handle communication with suppliers and external organisations
See that tasks are finished efficiently and to a high standard
Keep the property safe, organised and welcoming
Support the hotel's performance on an ongoing basis

Requirements & Eligibility

Willing to relocate within NSW
Previous experience in management, or proven management capability
Strong English-language communication skills
Hospitality or accommodation industry experience would be advantageous
A practical, hands-on attitude
Strong leadership skills
Strong coordination skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
Confidence to work independently and make decisions
Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills are highly regarded
Able to adapt as situations change
Genuine interest in developing a long-term career
